Newberry Volcano Bend, Oregon Elopement

It wasn’t Kriselle and Kevin’s first time in front of my camera. These two eloped the previous year in Brooklyn with their closest family and friends. I’ll never forget when Kriselle reached out and told me on the phone they were moving to Portland Oregon after their wedding! As Tim and I were planning on moving to Oregon as well it made perfect sense to add an epic Bridal Session to their elopement. They wanted to have that adventurous feel for their day and traveling to Bend was going to be perfect for it.

Kriselle and Kevin decided to have their second elopement session in Newberry Volcano in Bend, Oregon. Only 20min to 30 min south of Bend it’s the perfect location for an adventurous elopement. The volcanic rocks make the backdrop such a unique location for elopements. Perfect for a raw and moody feel for your day. Once you travel to the top of the Newberry volcano the views over Paulina Lake and the lava will take your breath away. There is no other place like it in Bend.

To every couple reading this: It’s ok to have two days! Planning two sessions for your elopement gives you more flexibility. You can celebrate your ceremony with your family and friends and why not exchange your vows on top of a mountain later? The beauty about eloping is that you can plan your day however you want it to be. And this is exactly what Kriselle and Kevin were able to do.
