Big Cottonwood Couple Session

This past Fall I had the chance to photograph two fellow photographers for a fun Big Cottonwood couple session in Utah. I was going across country moving from New Jersey to Oregon while Jaira and Jesse took a fun road trip around Utah. Our schedules worked perfectly and we were able to meet up in Big Cottonwood near Salt Lake City. It was a perfect fall day for a fun session in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Big Cottonwood Canyon is located right outside of Salt Lake City and is one of the prettiest location around the city. Only 25 min away from Salk Lake City, it’s the ideal location for a weekend getaway or day hiking. It’s easy to access all year around. But I highly recommend visiting during the fall to enjoy the pretty foliage while it last.

It has so many opportunities for engagement photos and wedding photos as well. The landscape makes the perfect backdrop when looking for a mountain feel for your photos. No wonder why this is one of the most popular location for Utah engagement session.
