We’ve been fortunate enough to work with Anais on three separate occasions now – our surprise proposal at Smith Rock, our engagement photos at Lake Crescent (WA) and our wedding weekend at Brasada Ranch. She’s unbelievably talented and brings the perfect balance of professionalism and fun to every interaction. She knows how to occasionally nudge you barely outside of your comfort zone for pictures you otherwise might not have taken, while making sure the essence of who you are as a couple is captured authentically and beautifully. Anais also got along extremely well with everyone at our wedding – guests, wedding party and family members.
We always get over-the-moon excited when we see an email come through from Anais about a new set of photos available for viewing. We plan to use Anais for any and all of our future photography needs, and we would recommend her to anyone, including our closest friends.

Our engagement and wedding photos turned out better than we ever could have imagined. "Anais is TRULY one of a kind, we can’t recommend her highly enough!! From our first conversation with her, she was professional, kind, real, and ultimately focused on getting to know us as a couple and understand what we were looking for in a photographer. We had so much fun with her at our engagement shoot on the Oregon coast with our dog. She kept it casual and helped us feel comfortable, giving us some direction and suggestions but not overly posing us which made our photos really look and feel like us! At our wedding, she was a total rockstar. She got along beautifully with our families and guests, ensured all the formal photos we wanted were captured, took beautiful wedding photos of our first look overlooking Mt Hood, and captured each moment of the day through candid touching photos of us and our guests. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding or elopement, Anais is your person. After a huge mistake on my end where I got the date wrong of our session, Anais was able to meet us in a new location and even with limited time captured the most stunning photos. I’m not one that typically loves photos of themselves, but these are genuinely some of my favorite pictures ever taken of my fiancé and I. She is magic!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Anais was perfect. She did not rush us for time, she was resourceful when our initial location was unexpectedly closed, and she created such a comfortable atmosphere that my wife and I were able to truly be ourselves and create a wonderful set of photos. If you're reading this review, it likely means you're considering having some photos taken. Look no further... book with Anais immediately! She is simply the best. My fiancee and I were in Bend for a quick visit and wanted a photo shoot to commemorate our long-delayed travels (kind of like a second engagement shoot). After finding Anais' photos online, we fell in love with her aesthetic. But after meeting and working with her, I can tell you the incredible photos you will receive are only half the reward - every step of the experience was a blast! She is collaborative, kind, funny, and genuine. She makes the photo session feel effortless and playful, my fiancee and I never once felt "posed" - rather, it was one of the most fun experiences of our whole Oregon trip. And the final result...? Some of the best pictures of us ever taken (and I really generally do not like having my picture taken). We could not be more thrilled!

When I was choosing vendors for our wedding day, I knew that I wanted someone that was similar to us so that we could vibe together on that day. (As cheesy as that sounds, it's so important!). From the first conversation with Anais, I knew that she was going to be the one to capture our wedding day. It seemed liked we had known her for ages. She is so personable, funny, and professional.
With COVID, we downsized our wedding significantly (170 to 20 people) and Anais was so responsive, courteous, and never frustrated with the changes and constant emailing to figure out our plan. As someone who is super organized, I appreciated having her be the same way!
As for the day, she was ON TOP OF IT! Anais and her second shooter had split up for the morning (groom's and bride's homes) and then came together for the ceremony and the rest of the day. She had notes of family members, names, and shots we wanted to make sure that nothing was missed.
My husband and I are not the most ~natural~ when it comes to taking photos so it was important to us to have someone experienced that could guide us through poses to make sure our photos came out amazing. Anais and Gaia were incredible at posing us, and making us feel so comfortable! My husband could not stop talking about how amazing they were and how comfortable they made him feel all day!
Now for the important part - THE PHOTOS! I could not have imagined getting better pictures from our day. It was small and intimate but Anais captured every single aspect so perfectly. She was able to incorporate all of the things that were important to us into our shoots and bring the beautiful landscape into each photograph.
We got married on a Saturday and by Monday afternoon we received a sneak peak of our wedding photos. This was so unexpected but such a wonderful surprise to have photos from our day so soon after. I could not imagine feeling more beautiful than I did in the photos that Anais took.
Our full album was delivered in about three weeks which is extremely fast for any wedding photography of this high quality. My husband and I and our families and friends were absolutely blown away by the way she captured our day.
Anais, you are so talented! I am so happy that we chose you to photograph our wedding and I could not imagine it any other way.

From our first conversation I knew Anais would be the perfect photographer for my bride and me. I submitted a request on her website and she responded within an hour and we were on the phone shortly after that. She was enthusiastic and very easy to talk to. I knew she'd be able to bring out the best in us on our wedding day.
The day of, Anais showed up early and was able to capture us getting ready at the house. Then she was ready at the ceremony site when we showed up to capture all angles while still maintaining physical distance for COVID. Finally, for the pictures of just us as a couple, Anais gave excellent direction and made the whole experience a lot of fun.

I had attended two weddings over the years where Anais was the photographer, and I immediately noticed her calm and collected presence. After seeing the beautiful photos she captured at both events, I made a mental note: I need her as my wedding photographer—even though my partner and I were still just dating at the time.

We had a wonderful experience using Anais as our wedding photographer! Being a destination wedding, we had only a phone call and emails to get to know each other before the day, but Anais absolutely delivered. We had her shoot our rehearsal dinner, which happened to be inside a cave, and she was able to perfectly capture the moody vibe despite the low lighting. On our wedding day, she captured everything we could’ve wanted and more. It is so special to have these memories of our day!
