Intimate Brownstone House Backyard Wedding in Brooklyn

Hoang-Mai and Richard’s DIY Brooklyn Backyard Wedding was nothing short but incredible. After canceling their original plans, they had to prepare a completely different wedding day in only a few weeks. Hoang-Mai and Richard decided to go mostly  DIY for their wedding day and rent furniture to bring to the Airbnb they had chosen as their back up wedding venue. All of their guests helped out and prepared their ceremony site in the backyard decorated with candles and bistro lights. And put together the reception in the main room of the Airbnb with the details Hoang-Mai had prepared for her day.

What I loved the most about their day was that even though their day didn’t go as originally planned they made the most of it and poured their heart into it. Hoang-Mai made her own wedding bouquet, created beautiful signage for the details of her day, and gave each guest a personalized gift to go home with after the party. Their wedding day felt like a family dinner filled with love and laughter. They hired a private chef to cook for them and serve them while their friends would share stories and memories with them.

Their DIY Brooklyn Backyard Wedding is truly an inspiration for all the couples looking to have an intimate celebration for their wedding day.
