Winter is one of my favorite seasons. When Alexa reached out for their engagement photos she mentioned that they were all in to do it in the winter in Asbury Park, NJ. I was so excited to be in Asbury Park for their engagement session. Indeed, it was a first for me. And last but not least, this is where they fell in love and where Matthew proposed.
As we walked along Asbury Park boardwalk, Matthew took me back to the bench where he proposed. And I was able to capture it back for them. It’s probably my favorite part about meeting my couples in person before their wedding day. I get to know them better and share all these special moments with them. Asbury Park means so much to them and I’m so glad I could photograph them in a place that they will always remember.
It was such a gorgeous winter day. When I arrived in Asbury Park, NJ there was a special event happening at the convention center, The Asbury Park Bazaar. Filled with all the local stores selling their products. Everybody came out this day to shop local and go home with some unique pieces. We try to catch a few images inside with Alexa and Matthew to take advantage of the cute flower set up the local florist had put together for the occasion. And there was even a Kiss-Photobooth! After being in the crowd we kept walking along the boardwalk and stopped where Alexa and Matthew love to hang out on their days off. And finally ended on the beach to see the light from the sky change as the sunset. A perfect winter day!
