The Mill Lakeside Manor Wedding

When Kristen first reach out to me she mentioned she was also a photographer! I absolutely love capturing fellow photographers’ stories and make magic happen with them! Kristen and Russ have been together for 10 years before deciding to tie the knot and become a married couple! YES, 10 years!! I’m always so impressed when my couples tell me how many years they have been together! They decided to have their wedding celebration at The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake NJ. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and everything they wanted!

I had the chance to meet them before the wedding over lunch and hear about them and all the ideas they had for their day! There is one thing that came out from all of it and it was to really enjoy the party and the food! I mean I 100% agree with them for the food! haha! Their cocktail hour and dinner were absolutely delicious!

They are a few sayings for wedding days to wish luck to the couple and one of them is about rain! Well, it rained all morning and part of the afternoon on Kristen and Russ’s wedding. Though it didn’t stop them to go outside and enjoy the drops to get some epic images! They were ready for any ideas I had and that was so much fun for us to capture them taking their day fully.

They are so many things I love about weddings but there is one thing I love the most. All the details the bride and groom will include in their day. Kristen had chosen her favorite flowers for her bridesmaids’ bouquets. Some sunflowers to brighten our grey day! She had them also wear a leather jacket and made sure to give them a special pin to match hers on her jacket! I thought her bride pin and just married were the coolest things I’ve seen on a wedding day!! And Russ had amazing customized cufflinks about their 10 years love story! I love how personal details are and learn the meaning behind all of them!
