The Cove Palisades Engagement Session
For their engagement session Ashley and Thomas had such a fun vision. They picked The Cove Palisades in Central Oregon near Bend to have their ideas come to life. And they couldn’t have picked a better location for it!
Their Cove Palisades engagement session started by the Crooked River with views over the amazing gorge. We then used the road to add some fun photos of them driving and ended back on the top of the State Park with endless views over the river and the cascade range. Ashley wanted this fun, running away vibe for her session, inspired by elopements so they used Thomas Harley Davidson to spice it up. She had two different dresses, gorgeous sparkling boots, a leather jacket and a veil. The perfect combo for this.
Ashley and Thomas met back in NY where they both are from and decided to move to Portland, Oregon together a few years ago. Since then, they’ve been adventuring Oregon and wanted to keep it as their engagement location since they’ll be getting married back in NY next year. It was so much fun to photograph these two babes in Central Oregon and I’m super excited to share some of their photos!!
The Cove Palisades State Park is situated in Culver, OR about 1hr drive from Bend. It’s a great year around location for boating, kayaking, camping and hiking. The Crook River river going through the State park makes gorgeous Gorge views. What I like the best about this location is that it is less traveled than the other locations in Central Oregon for engagement photos. So if you are looking for a quiet place this is it!
