Smith Rock State Park Engagement Session

Payten and Shaun’s engagement session in Smith Rock State Park was so much fun! We planned to meet late in the fall and we were lucky enough to have picked a day were it was very warm out. These two had the biggest smile the entire time and the way they looked at each other was just the sweetest!

They traveled from Portland to spend the weekend in Bend and have their engagement session photos taken. Making a trip out of you engagement session is such a fun way to make it even more special. I love it when couples are willing to travel to such beautiful locations in Central Oregon. It’s one of my favorites location in Oregon and it’s always so nice to be back.

Smith Rock is located about 30min north of Bend, Oregon which makes it an ideal location to go to for photos or to enjoy some of the best hikes and climbing walls. It’s accessible all year long and it’s best to visit any seasons but the summer as it gets extremely hot in the high desert. This is why I always recommend it in Central Oregon to my couples looking for an epic engagement session location. You don’t necessarily need to hike to enjoy some of the best views in the park which make it an easy option and also represents all outdoorsy couples really well.
