When you decide to elope, you can decide to fly away in one of your favorite locations. Or you can invite your closest family and simply do it at home. Well, this is what Melissa and Kyle decided to do for their wedding. An intimate New Jersey Elopement. Indeed they chose to have both of their families to witness them say I do and exchange rings.
We didn’t have to go too far for portraits. And that’s what I love about backyard weddings. First, we went to the golden field down their parent’s house. It was the perfect set up for a quick portrait session. Then, we ended up the photos in Melissa’s parent’s yard with their 11 weeks old little girl. In other words, it was the sweetest thing ever!! I know it meant a lot to them and in the end, that’s all it mattered.
The table was nicely set up by Party Rental Ltd and catered by Birchtree Catering. I was impressed by the table decorations with all the different garden herbs that were just perfect. Simple and DIY, I loved it! Melissa bought all kinds of different herbs, basil, cilantro, parsley, and set it up nicely with the beautiful tablescape. Indeed, such an awesome idea!
A little bit more about them:
When Kyle told me how he proposed to Melissa in Paris, I was so excited to hear all about it! I mean, being French I just wanted to hear it all!!! He had planned to propose on top of the Eiffel tower. It sure is the least intimate way to do it as the Eiffel Tower is the most crowded monument in the city (Kyle mentioned to me). However, probably the most romantic way! To sum it up, they finally tied the knot on their 9 years anniversary!
