In-home engagement session
I had the chance to photograph Meagan and Ryan as my last engagement session of 2019!!! Meagan originally found me because I’ll be photographing one of her friend’s wedding! And you know what? They have the same wedding weekend!!! I really wish I could be at Meagan and Ryan’s wedding down in Texas!! Anyway, for their in-home engagement photos, we had planned to first start with some really delicious pizza from their favorite pizzeria in their neighborhood! We grabbed the pizza and took a walk in direction of the beautiful LIC boardwalk. I had only been there once and going back there made me want to plan every single session in LIC!! The view over the Manhattan skyline is absolutely stunning!
Let’s talk about their actual engagement cause that’s my favorite part!! I absolutely looooved listening to their stories! Ryan actually proposed to Meagan when they traveled to California and Oregon! He popped the questions when they were on a hike with obviously the coolest view you can ever imagine! My heart just melted when she said that!! They both are in love with nature, hiking and everything related to that! It was the perfect place for him to ask the question! Their trip on the west coast and their camping adventures sounded just out of a dream! I’m actually traveling to Oregon soon as I’m writing this and I can’t wait to go see all the places she recommended me!!
Once we came back to their place to end their in-home engagement session, I saw that they had all their memories printed and hang on their wall, It was so sweet to see everything they were telling me in photos and be able to capture even more memories for them!
