Cross Estate Gardens Summer Engagement Session

Nicole and Brendan decided to have their engagement photos at the beautiful Cross Estate Gardens in central New Jersey. It was the perfect location for them as they explained to me that Brendan’s dad is a gardener himself and has the prettiest plants and flowers at home. We started their session in the Garden area which I was surprised was still filled with the prettiest blooms.

What I love the most about my engagement sessions is the connection I’m able to build with my couples before their wedding day. After the session Nicole and Brendan mentioned how easy and comfortable I made them feel in front of the camera. Every session is unique and I absolutely love to create something different every time I meet a couple. When we met I felt like we knew each other already. And I can’t wait to spend more time with them on their wedding day!!!

About the Cross Estate Gardens

Like I said previously the Cross Estate Gardens is one of the prettiest gardens in New Jersey. During the Spring and the Summer, the garden area is filled with a variety of plants and flowers which makes it ideal for engagement photos.

The Cross Estate Gardens is located about an hour away from the city which is perfect if you’re looking for a location outside NYC with a nature / garden vibe.

During the fall the trees turn into a shade of yellow and orange and the high grass turns into this magical golden color!! I recommend visiting the Gardens at different seasons to enjoy everything it has to offer.
