An Elegant Black Butte Ranch Wedding

Emily and Nick’s black Butte Ranch wedding took place last September and was one of those days that came together beautifully from start to finish. With clear skies, warm temperatures, and incredible mountain views. Central Oregon provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration!

One of the things that stood out about their wedding day was the design. Every detail felt intentional, from the floral arrangements to the reception space. The overall aesthetic was elegant and modern, featuring a timeless black-and-white color palette with subtle touches of brown woven into some of the florals. The result was a look that felt sophisticated without being overly formal, perfectly complementing the natural beauty of Black Butte Ranch.

Their ceremony took place beneath one of BBR’s iconic groves of aspen trees, creating a beautiful and intimate setting for family and friends to gather as they exchanged vows. After their ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the back deck while taking in the views.

Inside the reception space, every detail came together seamlessly. The thoughtful design, stunning floral work from The Posie Shop, and planning from Indigo Bride helped create an atmosphere that felt both refined and welcoming. From the carefully curated decor to the energy on the dance floor, it was clear that every part of the day reflected Emily and Nick’s vision. Before the evening ended, we stepped away for a few portraits by the lake. With calm water and clear views of the mountains, it was the perfect opportunity for Emily and Nick to take a few quiet moments together before returning to celebrate with their guests.
