Rachel and Bryan’s wedding at Juniper Preserve was a weekend filled with so many fun celebrations! We started the celebration the evening before the wedding with their rehearsal dinner that guests will probably be talking about for years! The dinner took place in the Lava Cave at Juniper Preserve, one of the most unique event spaces in Bend. To surprise their guests, Rachel and Bryan brought in Christine, a tattoo artist from Blade + Ink in Bend, allowing everyone the opportunity to get a small flash tattoo throughout the evening. Rachel and Bryan both got tattoos, as did several of their guests, making for an unforgettable weekend!

The following day was equally memorable. From the moment it began, they brought the best energy to every part of their day. We started with their first look at the Ghost Tree Forest, one of Juniper Preserve’s most iconic locations. They wanted to exchange their own vows before their ceremony so this moment would feel more intentional, giving them a quiet moment together to soak it all in before the full day began.
Their ceremony then took place on Spirit Island, surrounded by all their family and friends and some of the best views in Central Oregon. Afterward, all their guests shuttled or walked back to the Chanterelle patio to enjoy cocktail hour. Their cocktail hour was long enough for all their guests to enjoy the sunset and the gorgeous views. During that time, we took advantage of the longer cocktail hour and golden hour to walk a little more around the golf course and capture more portraits for Rachel and Bryan. We got some of the best sunsets we could have asked for that evening!
Their day continued with their reception at the Chantrellle Room, with a packed dance floor and plenty of energy from start to finish. Between the unique rehearsal dinner, the stunning scenery, and their fun-loving personalities, this wedding weekend was an absolute blast to photograph!
For couples looking for a venue that offers a true wedding weekend experience, Juniper Preserve is one of the best options in Central Oregon. Located just outside of Bend and Redmond (about 25 minutes), the resort feels tucked away from everything while still being easily accessible for guests traveling into town. From the Lava Cave, Spirit Island, and the Ghost Tree Forest, and the panoramic views over the mountains, every part of the property feels different and offers so many options for a wedding weekend.
