After Wedding Day in Champagne France

 

So excited to finally share these After Wedding Day photos with you!! I had the chance to photograph Aurélie and Antoine in my hometown in France this summer for their wedding! This is a fun story! Aurélie met my mom before we knew each other as she was taking flower arrangement lessons with my mom which made her wedding bouquet. She found me on Instagram later on and realized we were related when I shared a family photo in my story weeks later!

 

Aurélie already planned most of her wedding when we started to talk and booked most of her vendors including a wedding photographer. On my side, I wasn’t sure to make it back to France anytime soon anyway! Well things changed in the process and I was able to travel to France for most of July and when they were actually getting married! We took the occasion to plan an After Wedding Day session! At first, we planned to shoot at their beautiful venue the Chateau D’Arcelot located in the Burgundy area. the weather wasn’t with us and we reschedule the next day in Bologne, in our hometown! (Side note: the house in the photos is my favorite house ever in our village! haha)

 

They met while interning at the same location and never left each other since then! When they first moved in together they adopted the cutest bunny which I had a chance to capture as well! This makes it so special for them and for me!

I can’t thank these two enough for trusting me and letting me capture more portraits of them at sunset! I’m beyond happy to be able to work along with couples like them. They are one of the sweetest couples I met and I’m so thankful we could all work it out!
