Trillium Lake is definitely one of the best locations when it comes to Engagement and Couple sessions in general. What else can you ask for? A lake, and Mt Hood in the back to greet you when you first arrive. The view is worth the drive and stop. We met with Kiersti and Jordan before sunset for their couple session and we started by taking a walk around the lake. Trillium Lake doesn’t require to hike and it’s very easy to access.
I’m beyond happy this couple session at Trillium Lake could happen with Kiersti and Jordan as we’ve been talking about meeting up in the PNW for a while now! Jordan and I met because we’re both in the wedding industry.Jordanis one of the best videographers I had a chance to work within the New Jersey and New York area when we both still lived on the east coast. He’s now located out of Dallas but available for travel. It was such a pleasure to finally meet his sweet girlfriend and photograph them in Oregon. Kiersti is originally from Oregon and lived most of her life in Washington State. So having them here was definitely special. Being able to photograph friends is one of my favorite parts of doing photography full time.
These two babes had planned a fun roast trip from Seattle all the way down to San Francisco passing by all the amazing must-see on the way along the coast. I was able to convince them to do a quick detour by Trillium Lake, and hang out for a few hours before they headed back to their adventure.
About Trillium Lake
Trillium Lake is located only about 1.5hrs from Portland. It’s easy to access during late Spring to the Fall. It’s the perfect location for hot summer days to hang out with your friends or family. You can plan many activities, like kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, hiking and stay at night under a sky full of stars while camping at their campground. During the winter you can park on the first parking and go snowshoeing to the lake and on the lake. I highly recommend seeing Trillium Lake at all seasons.
