The Griffin House Wedding, Love, Scenic Vibes and all-white elegance
In the heart of the stunning Columbia River Gorge Allison and Davitt’s Griffin House wedding was all you could ask for when getting married in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I met these two babes back when we did their engagement session in Joshua Tree. And I remember them telling me how Davitt’s was a desert lover and Allison more of a PNW person. So this is how they decided on both locations for each event. They ended up picking the gorgeous Griffin House located in Hood River to celebrate their union.
Since they live in California, their wedding was going to be a destination wedding in the beautiful Oregon landscape. Their wedding day rocked an all-white vibe, from flowers to Davitt’s sharp suit. It was a mix of classic glam and modern chic, the perfect match for the stunning backdrop the Gorge offered.
What I loved the most about their day was that they honored the location they chose and also made sure it was a day that truly represented them. Starting with a native tradition during their ceremony where they washed their hands in some of the Columbia River Gorge. And for their reception Davitt’s played the guitar and sang along with some of his friends. Which was the perfect way to start the festivities and took them back to when Davitt’s proposed to Allison as he also played and sang for her during their proposal.
The night went on and all their guests took the party to the dance floor. Their day was filled with so much love and laughter. The perfect mix for to celebrate Allison and Davitt.
The Griffin House is the perfect wedding venue if you are looking for a luxury experience and scenic views to celebrate your wedding day. Located only an hour from Portland in Hood River, Oregon it’s easy access for all of your guests even when traveling for a destination wedding.
