Starting the day in Karla’s bridal suite with her bridesmaid and family getting ready at the Renaissance Hotel in Allentown. All the details, dresses and flowers were ready for her perfect day. The theme: an elegant and romantic all-white wedding at the Renaissance Hotel in Allentown, PA. From the flowers to the reception ballroom, everything was pure white! When it comes to a traditional wedding, brides will make sure to have something new, something old, borrowed, and something blue! Karla’s electric blue Jimmy Choo hills were complimenting her look for the day with perfection!
I had such a blast following Karla and Jimmy during one of the best days of their life. Their family and friends welcomed us and made us feel part of the party! And WHAT A PARTY!!! From the bride and groom’s introduction to the end of the night, nobody left the dancefloor! The party went on and on with their oldest son killing it on the dancefloor! What a dancer, he would make anybody feel ridiculous dancing next to him. Portorican and Nigerian sure know how to dance!
Karla & Jimmy did not only have one introduction but two. For the occasion, Karla switched her beautiful and vintage traditional dress to her second dress for the night. And WOW it was as incredible as the first look. Still a little vintage touch with some glamorous, sexy, and elegant feel.
The Venue
The Renaissance Hotel is located in the center of Allentown in Pennsylvania. The hotel from the outside still features the old architecture which is absolutely stunning. The white stone surrounding the doors and the traditional red bricks for the rest of the building. Inside the hotel, the style is modern and industrial. Two styles that are perfect together for a city wedding. The Hotel offers a balcony ceremony site looking over Allentown downtown. The ceremony balcony at the Renaissance Hotel is the perfect spot for a downtown wedding feel. View over the city and cute little garland lit up at night with the city lights in the background will make your day feel a little bit more magical. I loved how the entire hotel was so well decorated. Karla and Jimmy were able to enjoy a private cocktail hour on their mezzanine with their wedding party and immediate family after their ceremony.
