A rainy Central Park Elopement with colorful celebration at Viva Verde
Hannah and Myung did not only had to deal with covid when planning their Central Park elopement but the torrential weather from the day before. We started their day under the rain while Hannah was getting ready at 1 Hotel Central Park with view over the park. We knew the rain may stop a little later in the morning so we made some plan B last minute to make sure we could go on with their ceremony. Later on, we had Myung meet us at the hotel where we opted for a dry first look inside so they could enjoy some time together. After their first look we decided to just go for it and headed to Central Park. We had so much fun under the rain and embraced all of it!! And in the end the weather cleared up for us. We all felt so lucky about it!!
For their elopement ceremony we decided to stay by the Gapsto Bridge in Central Park and have all of their family meet us there directly. I’m so glad we could go with the flow for their day and have them enjoy some of the best views in the park while exchanging their vows.
After their ceremony, we all headed to Viva Verde where they decided to have their celebration. Their florist had made some absolutely amazing flower arrangements to decorate the restaurant and it matched so well the colorful vibe from the place and personality from these two babes.
I absolutely loved that they were ready to just go with the flow and changed their plans last minute to make sure we could still have a perfect day in the city. It’s because of couples like these two that I love my job so much! I had such a blast photographing their day.
