New York best engagement location, New York Wedding Photographer, NYC Top engagement locations, NYC wedding photographer
I could go on about Central Park. There are so many options to choose from when choosing the location for your engagement photos!
Here are a few of my favorite locations in the Park:
Starting south of the park, The Gapstow Bridge and the pond with a view over the Manhattan Skyline. Another great view only two minutes walk from the Gapstow Bridge, the Wollman Rink Rocks, you’ll still get the view of the Skyline and view over the Ice Rink during the wintertime! (See Photos Below)
Another favorite: the famous Bethesda Fountain and Terrace. The arches and painting of the Bethesda Terrace are just perfect for some of the coolest engagement photos! And the Bethesda Fountain for some romance!
Not far from the Bethesda Fountain probably less than a minute walk! Take a walk to the Bow Bridge. Perfect location for one of the most romantic locations in Central Park! The architecture and view over the skyline really make everything here!
Let’s get high!! If you want the best view over Manhattan, you can’t go wrong with a visit to the Top of the Rock! One side with view over the Empire State Building and on the other side Central Park! You can’t beat that!
Little tip: If planning your engagement or wedding photos here, make sure to come first thing in the morning when it opens! Come on a clear day as once it’s cloudy you won’t be able to see anything!
Need privacy?? You’ll be able to rent the Bar Sixty-five Rainbow Room if you want some epic photos just for yourself before the Bar opens to the public!! Raj was able to propose to his forever girlfriend Amrita! And trust me it was freaking magical!
The Fashion district!! And one of my favorite architecture in Manhattan! Wander around the streets of Soho and get your engagement photos in the early morning when NYC is still asleep from its craziness! You can just walk from one street to the other and get the perfect city vibe for your engagement photos.
Looking for somewhere unique and all the vibes at once? Look no more! The High Line is the perfect location! Art, trees, flowers, and the city! Everything in one place!! You can start at either end and take your time wandering along what it has to offer! In the middle part of The High Line, you’ll also be able to grab a bite and drink! It’s not a short walk so plan ahead and give yourself at least 1hr!
The Vessel!!! Brand new attraction from the city! When you finish your walk north of the High-Line on the other side of the mall you’ll be able to get on the top of this new building! We ended there for sunset and could not have been more perfect!
Little tip: IT’S FREE! but you can get entrance tickets online for the time you wish to go on! You’ll avoid any wait in line!! Check Mina and Brian blog!
The area I probably go to the most!! Dumbo! View over Manhattan downtown, The Manhattan Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge! Can’t do more iconic than this!
The famous Washington Street will give you the view over the Manhattan Bridge you see everywhere on Instagram!! Very crowded but epic! Keep walking along the boardwalk and you’ll be able to hit all the amazing locations of this area!
Two minutes away, take a peek at the Brooklyn Bridge and Skyline making a stop by Pebble Beach! The view everybody comes here for! Some other things to do around Dumbo! Take your photos in front of the Carousel or get on it for a quick ride! It’s only a few dollars.
Getting away from the boardwalk to get on the Brooklyn Bridge by Washington Street and you’ll be able to see some amazing murals and get a different vibe for your engagement photos!
AAAAAAHHH The famous Brooklyn Bridge! Everybody dreams about it when visiting NYC! And I still feel the same even after seeing it a hundred times! Sunrise or Sunset for the best light and the magic of the city will make you feel like in a movie!
My tip for you: wanna feel alone? Come at sunrise! Not early morning, SUNRISE! Otherwise, be patient and you’ll still get the best photos!
This is what I tell everybody asking me to get their portrait there! “we’ll be patient and we’ll make it happen” check these guys out here!
A lot more quiet than it’s neighbor Dumbo! Walk on the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge, walk along the boardwalk for some epic views! and get lost in the famous brownstone townhouses of Brooklyn!
