New-York-City Engagement. A surprise proposal in Lower Eastside Manhattan.

When XJ contacted me to photograph his New-York-City engagement proposal to his girlfriend Helen I was so thrilled by all the ideas. Indeed he had planned for weeks and involved their closest friends and direct family! The plan was to have Helen meet us at the Hotel Indigo down their street which has a view on their apartment building.

By the time she would be here with us, their family and friends would wait for her on the rooftop on the opposite side with a giant sign ” SAY YES” for her to see. The all process was just amazing, XJ put so much effort to surprise her with a unique way to propose. Their famous greyhound dog was obviously part of the surprise. Dani is her name, was waiting for Helen to show up with binoculars attached to her collar.

I feel very grateful to be a part of special moments in all my couples lives. Being able to be part of such a fun proposal was a real blast! Now, I’ll let you discover XJ and Helen’s proposal story with a few photos of their day! Can’t wait to see where life takes them on this cool journey!
