Indian Ford Meadow Maternity Session

Ashley and TJ’s Indian Ford Meadow maternity session was a dream night! One of the things I love the most about being a photographer is getting to follow couples through different seasons of their life. There’s something incredibly special about getting to photograph couples through different milestones in their lives and this maternity session at Indian Ford Meadow was no exception. I first met Ashley and TJ’s at the Cove Palisades for a fun engagement session where they wanted shots of them on their motorcycle. We switched gears for their maternity session and had the sweetest evening together. It was a lot of fun to reconnect and document this next chapter as they get ready to welcome their daughter. As I’m writing this blog post they have already welcomed their daughter and also asked me to photograph them as a family of three now. We had the most beautiful evening: warm light, the dreamiest sunset, and a quiet, peaceful meadow all to ourselves. They brought their cute pup Minnie who had the best time walking around with us and making us laugh the entire time as she was so excited and barking along just for fun. And also took with them a polaroid camera to snap some behind the scenes moments, which I love having a couple props for session when possible!

Indian Ford Meadow Preserve is a hidden gem in sisters, Oregon known for it’s seeping views of the Three Sisters mountains and wide open meadow. It’s peaceful, scenic and perfect for any sessions. Either it is an engagement, family or maternity session. The soft light filtering though the landscape and the snow-capped peaks in the distance make it one of my favorites places in Central Oregon.
