Hoyt Arboretum Wedding in Portland, Oregon

Sam and Chris’ intimate Hoyt Arboretum Wedding was nothing short but magical! I met with Sam earlier during the day at the Benson hotel where she was getting ready with her best friends. And from the beginning I loved that Sam had so many details that meant so much to her. Once the girls were ready we headed to the Hoyt Arboretum where Chris was waiting for Sam for their first look. We went just down their ceremony site where their guests could also witness them seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. It was so special.

Their wedding ceremony took place on the deck inside the Hoyt Arboretum park. The views over the lush forest was everything. It totally makes you forget about the fact that you are right in Portland. Although it wasn’t their first choice the Hoyt Arboretum ended up being the perfect location for their intimate ceremony.

After their ceremony they invited more of their friends to join them and celebrate at one of their favorite local restaurant Cully Central in Portland. Overall, their day was everything they wanted and were able to celebrate with their closest friends and family.

The Hoyt Arboretum is the perfect location if you are looking to celebrate your wedding day with family and friends or to elope without having to travel outside Portland. You can enjoy some of the best views right by the entrance of the park or go explore on the trails to make it a fun adventure. Located right on the west side of Portland it’s the perfect get away for a wedding day.
