A perfect fall evening engagement session at Spark Lake

 

Kourtney and Lukas engagement session at Sparks Lake was nothing short but incredible. We had such an amazing fall night at the lake for their session. I probably say it very often in my posts but Sparks Lake is definitely one of my all time favorite locations in Bend for engagement session. I loved meeting Kourtney and Lukas they were so much fun and were ready for anything for their session. They came from Eugene to spend the night in Bend for their session to capture some of their Oregon life in their images. They planned to have their day back in Idaho with their family so having it done here in Bend was the perfect way to capture their story. They laughed a lot, danced and even got a chance to pop some bubbles to celebrate! The perfect combo for some fun engagement session at Sparks Lake images.

Like I was saying Sparks Lake is one of my favorite locations in Bend. If you’re planning an engagement session there, here are a few tips I love to share with my couples. Depending on the winter season Sparks Lake can be accessible faster or later. In the photos below you’ll see some of the beach by the lake which only happens in the summer or even later in the summer up to the fall. The later you plan your engagement session during the year the more of the beach you’ll be able to access as well as areas around the lake. It’s the perfect location if you’re already in Bend or plan to have a fun weekend getaway in Bend. It only takes 40min from town to get to it, have the right vehicle as the road gets extremely bumpy and make sure to have your national forest pass with you or pay the daily fee at the station. And lastly if you’re looking for amazing views of the cascade mountains that is easily accessible this is it. It doesn’t get better than this!
