An elegant Sunriver Resort Wedding

Sydney and Kyle’s summer wedding at Sunriver Resort was the kind of day that just felt good from the start. Clear skies, warm, and the perfect Central Oregon sunset. It all came together in a way that felt easy, natural, and genuinely fun. Their whole day carried this balance of elegance, where nothing felt overdone, but every detail still mattered.

Sydney looked incredible in a modern, fitted gown that was minimal but striking. It suited her perfectly and felt so true to her style. Her florals, designed by Wild Poppy Florals, were soft and whimsical, made up of layered white blooms that added just the right amount of movement and texture. Everything about the design and the details of their felt fresh and timeless.

Before their ceremony, we took some time for their portraits, and one of the best moments was their dog joining us for some of it. It was such a sweet moment, as they had already joined us during their engagement session, it was a fun time to include them once more. Their ceremony was emotional in the best way. The kind where you could feel how much everyone cared about them. Their vows were thoughtful, personal, with just enough humor mixed in. It felt intimate even with all their guests there.

We then shifted into their reception with such a fun energy, starting with their grand entrance, all the speeches, and a fun dance floor. Planned by Ponderosa Planning, the entire day flowed so seamlessly that Sydney and Kyle could stay fully present and enjoy it all. It never felt rushed, just a really good time with all their favorite people.

Sydney and Kyle’s Sunriver Resort wedding was one of those days that felt both calm and full at once, emotional, fun, and completely effortless as it unfolded.

About Sunriver Resort

Sunriver Resort is one of my favorite wedding venues in Central Oregon (not just because I live in Sunriver haha). Only located about 20-25min south of Bend, it offers an amazing experience for weddings and all the guests coming in to celebrate. You can get the full resort experience with beautiful ceremony locations, mountains views and all the accommodation needed. Sunriver Resort, offers different ceremony location as well as reception space giving you all the option for your wedding day. I personally love their Mt Bachelor Lawn for ceremony and the amazing Great Hall with its perfect chalet vibe for a wedding in Central Oregon near the mountains. It’s definitely a favorite for couples wanting to do a destination wedding in Oregon.
