A summer wedding at Sunriver Resort and Heritage Room
Caroline and Grant’s wedding at Sunriver Resort and Heritage Room was a wonderful summer celebration. We started the day with Caroline and her bridesmaids getting ready in one of the rooms reserved for her on-site. The ambiance was already starting with so much laughter from her group. Before seeing each other, they wanted to share a quick celebratory shot to show off their fun personalities and set a happy mood. When Grant saw Caroline, he was clearly touched, making their first look a memorable moment.
They held their ceremony on the Bachelor Lawn, which has views of Mount Bachelor. The ceremony space was so beautiful, with flowers lining the aisle and a floral arch framing the couple when they exchanged vows. The color palette of pinks and oranges matched the green backdrop so perfectly. Roots Wild Floral truly designed arrangements that added a romantic and whimsical feel. They kept the ceremony short and sweet, so guests could enjoy it without sitting in the sun for too long. This also meant everyone could move right into the evening’s celebration.
After their ceremony, they enjoyed a cocktail hour on the outdoor patio before moving into the Heritage Room for the reception. The space felt warm and intimate, perfect for their close friends and family. Their wedding planner, Amanda Claire & Co, made sure every detail was in place and that the day went perfectly from beginning to end.

Sunriver Resort has been such a fun location to photograph weddings, as I myself live in Sunriver and always love working close to home. It is one of the best wedding venues in Central Oregon, located about 20 minutes south of Bend, Oregon. They offer many options for ceremonies and receptions, from the Bachelor Lawn with mountain views, to the Homestead Lawn with aspen trees, and the Heritage room and Great Hall for receptions. The beautiful scenery and on-site amenities offered by the resort make it the perfect destination wedding location for couples looking to have it all in one spot.
