Candace and George’s Mount Rainier engagement session was the perfect blend of adventure, spontaneity and pure fun. We met up in the Paradise area and explored a couple different trails, chasing light views and all the wildflowers. The weather kept us on our toes, it shifted constantly between fog, clouds and just the tiniest bit of rain. But that moody mountain atmosphere only added to the magic of the day.
these two were total troopers, laughing through it all and embracing every moment. From fog-covered views that made the mountains feel mysterious and dreamy, to the moments when the clouds cleared and revealed sweeping alpine landscapes, it was a day full of contrast. Candace and George where open for anything, they traveled from the east coast to spend some time in Washington so it was the perfect occasion to get their engagement photos at the beautiful Mount Rainier National Park. While we hiked through the meadows of wildflowers we also did a quick stop by the famous Myrtle Falls where Mount Rainier in the background was starting to show here and there within the fog. although it is a busy area of the park it felt like we had most of the place for ourselves. We made sure to pause and soak in the views every chance we got.
