A fun summer night Sparks Lake Engagement Session

Racquel and Wayne’s Sparks Lake engagement session was such a blast! I always have a lot of fun during my sessions but these two took it to the next level and we laughed the entire time! These two have such an amazing relationship and I’m so glad I could capture a part of it for them.

We started with a cloudy night but once the sun came through the clouds, the night got even better. We could not have asked for a more perfect day.  Racquel and Wayne traveled from the east coast for a few days to attend a wedding in Portland. And they took the opportunity to be around for a few days to have some engagement photos taken at one of the most beautiful locations in Bend. Sparks Lake! One of my all time favorites around here. You really can’t get better views over the mountains. I absolutely love it when couples from all over the US and the world ask me to capture them while traveling. Having the opportunity to meet so many amazing couples like them from all over the world is such a blessing.

Sparks Lake is located only 30min outside of Bend Oregon and is accessible from the late Springs to Fall. Once the snow melts and the roads open back up for the season it is one of Bend’s best locations to visit. You’ll need a day pass to visit the area or you can purchase a forest season pass.
