A Backyard Wedding in Joshua Tree

 

For their wedding day Sara and Mac decided to get married at Mac’s mom’s backyard in Joshua Tree California. They worked so hard to make this day happen and bring their vision to life. They had all of their friends and family helped put it together and make sure everything looked perfect.

They divided the backyard into sections, starting with a welcoming sign, photos and beautiful decorations which took you to their ceremony site with Joshua Trees as a backdrop. For their reception they decorated the tables with vintage vases and glasses that Sara had previously thrifted. They did everything they could to bring their personal touch into their day. My favorite part was at night, as they had covered some of the trees with lights and the reception with bistro lights. It was perfect to bring that intimate vibe for the night. For their dinner they hired a Mexican chef who served tacos all night. I can’t think of a better wedding dinner in my opinion!

Their day was filled with so much love and laughter. Just seeing them together was enough to see how much love they had for each other and how important each person invited to their wedding was to them. The emotion was palpable all day and it was amazing to be able to capture the day for them. They went all out for their day and I’m so happy to finally share more here.
