A gorgeous summer Soda Creek Proposal

Ben and Ashley’s Soda Creek Proposal was the perfect summer night in the Cascade Mountains. Ben wanted the proposal to be in a location that represents Central Oregon and their love for the area, and Soda Creek was the perfect spot.

To make his vision a reality, Ben worked with Radiant Event Co, which planned every detail of the proposal. Chelsea brought over the floral display made by a local florist. The floral display was a floor arch shaped made of baby’s breath. The soft white flowers blended into the natural setting, adding to the landscape without taking over. It felt natural, romantic, and just right for the location.

Ben and Ashley flew from Texas to spend some time in Oregon with their family, and it was the perfect time for him to propose at a place they love to come back to year after year. We made it all happen during golden hour. Early in the season, Soda Creek is a very quiet and peaceful location. Which was perfect to make it feel so intimate and for them to have no distractions to celebrate. After the proposal, we made sure they could celebrate and have a glass of champagne.

Soda Creek is an amazing spot for an engagement session in Bend, Oregon. It is one of the best and easiest locations to get gorgeous mountain views in Central Oregon. It has wide mountain views and open meadows, which in the early season can be flooded with water from snowmelt. I love how this landscape changes throughout the seasons and can create a very unique backdrop depending on what time of year you decide to plan your session. What also makes it the perfect location is that it’s only a half hour from Bend.
