Villa & Vine Wedding in San Barbara California
Amanda and Alex Villa and Vine Wedding in Santa Barbara was nothing short but beautiful! We started the day at Amanda’s family home in the gorgeous sides of Santa Barbara where they both got ready. The Spanish style of the villa was everything to set the tone of the day. After their first look, Amanda and Alex had decided to exchange private vows on the property instead of the traditional way during ceremony. A lot of couples have been getting on the trend of exchanging vows privately and I’m here for it! If you don’t want to pour your heart out if front of all of your guests it’s definitely an amazing option!!
After their time at the villa we all headed to Santa Barbara downtown and more specifically at the gorgeous courthouse. The architecture is the perfect place for wedding portrait and is popular for a reason. We wonder around the place and capture some amazing portraits for the two of them. Their ceremony then took place at the gorgeous Villa & Vine venue in town as well which was walking distance to the courthouse. The Villa and Vine venue offered the perfect setting for a fun wedding but also this sweet intimate feel by the size of it. The venue was beautifully decorated by the talented and amazing wedding planner Burlap and Bordeaux. They went for a floral, fall color theme with disco balls and it was just perfect to compliment the venue.
After their ceremony all their guest who had travel from different states were ready to celebrate and party all night. It was such a pleasure to capture it all for them and seeing them surrounded by their loved one to celebrate their union. Amanda and Alex are also located in Bend so it was so fun to travel for them and meet them again in Santa Barbara to photograph their day.
The Villa and Vine wedding venue is the cutest venue in downtown Santa Barbara with it’s amazing architecture and villa and garden courtyard. The courtyard area allows you to have about 130 guest seated which is perfect for an average size wedding or smaller intimate days. the courtyard is filled with gorgeous crawling ivy, olive trees and a fountain in the middle of it. also located in front of the theater I love that they use the banner to put the couple’s name and wedding dates, such a fun little touch to include for your day and your photos.
