For their Hoh Rain Forest Elopement Allison and Kiefer wanted a moody day. And they could not have picked a better place or time of year to get everything they wanted and that represented them as a couple.
Allison and Kiefer decided to exchange private vows in the Hoh Rain Forest on a fall afternoon. In the morning they made it official with an officiant on one of the most iconic place in Seattle in front of Pike Place Market. They then joined me in Olympic National Park to finish their day and capture more memories. We started with a first look in the middle of the beautiful Hoh Rain forest and then kept walking to enjoy more of this majestic place. If you’re looking for something moody like I said there are no other place like this one. Allison and Kiefer both wore black and really fitted the vibe. Allison bought her dress from a store based out of Ukraine where she got the perfect look for her day and complemented it with a cathedral length black veil. She looked absolutely stunning!
I always have so much fun with my couples while photographing their day but these two really made it even more special and I could not be more grateful for couples like them.
The Hoh Rain Forest is located in the heart of Olympic National Park. It is known for the Hall of Mosses trail that takes you through old growth forest of maple trees covered of vibrant moss. It is a short hike but there are so many amazing trees to admire and that takes you through time. It is about a two hours drive from Port Angeles and 45 minutes from Forks. It is definitely a must see when visiting Olympic National Park.
