Marah and Matt’s Mt Hood Skibowl Wedding was nothing short but magical. I don’t think the views over Mt Hood can get any better than this for a wedding day! They really wanted to have the best day and enjoy most of what Mt Hood Skibowl has to offer. And their guests were ready to have a lot of fun too.
We started the day at the Warming Hut where Marah got ready with her bridesmaids and family. Once she was ready Matt and I took the ski lift to head to the top for their first look. We had a full view over Mt Hood for their first look with a perfect blue sky. After a few portraits, the three of us headed back down to the hut to start the festivities. Their ceremony included Jewish traditions as well as a beautiful song sang by her sister and brother in law. It made it so personal and special.
Marah and Matt were most excited about what was coming after the ceremony, the Alpine Slide. They headed over with their wedding party and all their guests that wanted to participate to the Alpine Slide to head back down for their reception. I jumped on it as well to photograph them while coming down the slide and it was just so much fun for everybody! It was the best entrance to start their cocktail hour and reception. Everybody enjoyed the dancefloor all night after that and it was just a perfect way to end their day.
Mt Hood Skibowl is a recreation area located next to Government Camp. It offers lots a fun activities in the summer, like hiking, the Alpine Slide, climbing ,events location, and many more. It’s the perfect wedding venue for the best mountain views only 1hr drive from Portland Oregon.
