A summer Engagement Session in Mount Hood

For their engagement Session Katy and McKenzie decided to do it in a place that means so much to them. We started their session in a very special place as it is a family cabin in the beautiful little town of Government Camp on the base of Mount Hood. I absolutely loved hearing everything about the history of the cabin and how important it has been in their family history.

After taking photos on the property, we all headed to Mount Hood to capture more of their engagement session with the beautiful mountain views that Timberline Lodge offers. To make the night more of celebration, Katy and McKenzie brought champagne and a picnic blanket so they could enjoy.

It was such a perfect summer night in Mount Hood, we enjoyed the beautiful sunset, and it is the best time of the year to see the wildflowers cover some part of the mountain. Although it is a popular location in the summer in Oregon the night was quiet and we could truly appreciate it all.
