A backyard wedding in Sisters, Oregon

 

For their intimate backyard wedding in Sisters, Allison and Alex couldn’t have picked a better location and setting. Alex’s family having a beautiful property in Sisters, it just made sense for them to celebrate their union with their closest family members. Backyard weddings in general have become some of my favorite events to photograph, I love how intimate it feels and how chill the vibe is the whole day!

We started the day at the house where they both got ready separately and then headed outside for their first look. The property has views over the Cascade mountain range and especially on the Three Sisters so it was super fun to capture them in such a beautiful and meaningful place. For their day, they had the help of all their family to set everything up, from the ceremony, flowers and reception everybody helped out to make this day extra special for them. It came together so beautifully. My personal favorite part of their backyard wedding in Sisters was during sunset, after speeches we realized the clouds were turning into this incredible shade of orange. Everybody stood up and just enjoyed watching the sunset and seeing them all in a group just appreciating the end of the day was so perfect to witness.
