Glacier Point Couple Session in Yosemite

Megan and Peter Glacier Point couple session in Yosemite was an absolute dream to photograph. These two babes came to spend the weekend in Yosemite and we took the opportunity to explore a little more of Glacier Point.

It is one of the most iconic location in Yosemite National Park, it was Megan and Peter’s first time in this area of the park and it’s always so much fun to explore this way with my couples. Megan and Peter love to travel and adventure to some amazing places so capturing their Glacier Point couple session was the perfect way to memorize their story. They previously traveled to Yosemite and explore all of what the Valley has to offer. So seeing everything from the top was very special.

From one view point to the other we tried to enjoy as much as we could while capturing them. From the famous Half Dome to some of the best water falls in the park including Yosemite Falls, and Vernal Falls. The views are endless and definitely a must see in Yosemite.

A little more about Glacier Point

Glacier Point is located about 1hr drive from Yosemite Valley. The road to Glacier Point is the only road access to this area of the park. It opens from May to November. It is iconic for its views over Half Dome, the Valley and the waterfalls. From there you can go on some of the best hike of the National Park.

It is definitely one of my favorite location for engagement sessions and elopements in Yosemite. It is easy to access and doesn’t require any hike.  Glacier Point is known for its epic sunrises. So if you are planning a visit in this area of the park I’d recommend being an early riser and check it out first thing in the morning. Enjoy!
