Hoang Mai and Richard wanted to have their engagement session in their neighborhood, Fort Greene Brooklyn. We met up at their apartment first where they spent most of their quarantine time. Capturing them hanging out there with their cute pup Sherlock was also a good way to remember all the time they have spent together the past few months. These two babes love to spend time together at home with their dog while Richard cooks some amazing dish for the night. I have to say I absolutely love seeing all their amazing creation on Instagram! It always looks so delicious!
What I love the most is when couples are the ones taking me around an area that mean a lot to them. Either it’s a location they love to travel to or down the streets where they love going for walks and to the park with their dogs. We hit the streets of Brooklyn stopping at different locations in Fort Greene to capture their engagement photos. The streets of Fort Greene are full of beautiful brownstone houses and some of them even covered with ivy leaves. Their neighborhood was full of life that night with people playing music at the corner of some closed streets.
Some of their previous trips included visits to some breweries in Ireland as well as a trip to the famous Oktoberfest in Germany. For their wedding, they want to keep that vibe of beer garden bringing along their family and best friends to enjoy a chill night and celebrate their union. They found the perfect location in Brooklyn to celebrate, the Radegast Hall & Biergarten, and I can’t wait to be there and photograph their day!!!
