Singapore The Lion City | La jungle urbaine

July 12, 2018

What a change for us after spending 2 months exploring the beautiful country that is Indonesia. I wish we could have stayed longer and visited a lot more islands than we did. I’m sure we will be back soon enough. Explore my Indonesia post to see what we have seen while backpacking Indonesia in my previous post right here!

Anyway, our trip to Asia has been most of the time a focus on food for Tim and I. YES FOOD!! We freaking loooooooveee Asian food so much. We both agreed that we needed a change after the two months in Indonesia and finally get to try something new we were so excited! Singapore has one of the most diversified food scenes in the world. BEST FOOD COURT EVER!!! Though we were both terrible at taking photographs whenever we ate something new… So no food pics here sorry guys!

Singapore is an incredible city! So many sightseeing, from mesmerizing museum to a handmade Cloud Forest and Flower Dome and incredible street architecture with the giant trees found at the Gardens by the Bay! In my opinion, everything in this city has to be enjoyed during the day and especially at night! the lights shows are just out of control!

I’m not a fan of cities, but Singapore knows how to incorporate the beauty of nature everywhere in the city. And they were my favorite places to visit. Also, I probably took way too many pictures of orchids while in Singapore, but I guess this is what happens when your mom is a florist and the Flower Dome as a special orchid exhibition! Oops… Enough talking! Enjoy the pictures 🙂
